What You Can Do
Alarmingly, suicide is the THIRD leading cause of death for young people ages 15-24. NoResolve.org’s primary focus is to promote prevention, through our school presentations, and serve as a bridge to services that are available to teens in crisis.
Our goal is to implement our music-based prevention program in as many schools in our community as possible. By doing this, we believe that we can help save lives by empowering teens with the ability to recognize the warning signs of suicide, and providing them with the proper avenues for support if they are in crisis.
In 2008, NoResolve.org gave suicide prevention presentations to half a dozen schools, reaching over 2,000 high school and middle school students, donated over 1,500 copies of "Breaking The Silence Volume 1" to survivors and support groups throughout the country and put on "Breaking The Silence" benefit concerts in Ann Arbor, MI and Chicago, IL.
